(nee Niemann) of St. Francis, died unexpectedly on Saturday, December 30,2006, with her devoted husband of 60 years by her side. Pat was born on February 9, 1927 to Arthur and Adeline Niemann, in Milwaukee. She married her high school sweetheart, Harry Albert Lau during World War II. Pat was an incredible wife, mother and grandmother. All who encountered Pat were embraced by her love, her energy and her care. She was a master seamstress, an excellent dancer, cook, baker and loved to garden. Her fun loving nature led her to become an accomplished painter and a member of the ''Skating Granny's'' at Rollaero Skate Center in Cudahy. A multifaceted, independent woman, she amazed all with her unique talents. Pat could fix anything, including the plumbing and worked with her son David building shelves and refinishing furniture. Pat had a strong faith which she shared with her family and was a member of Unity Ev. Lutheran Church for 52 years. Pat is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Douglas Niemann and her sister Doris Wood. She is survived by her husband Harry; sisters, Janice (Arthur) Lange and Joanne Bartlett; children, Christine (Tom) Young, David (Gloria) Lau, Robert (Julie Winter) and Debra (Ray) Neuberger; grandchildren, Courtney (Shawn) West, Krystie (Mario) Schackelman, Brian Lau, Jennifer (Marty) Rowe and Kristin (Frank) Colorito;great-grandchildren Shayne Schackelman and Kaley Colorito. A memorial service will be held at Unity Ev. Lutheran Church, 1025 E.Oklahoma Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53207 THURSDAY, January 4, 2007 at 11:00 A.M.
