Melville, Lanny R.

Was called home to the Lord on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at the age 79. Loving husband and best friend of Rosie (nee Smith) for 60 years. Dear dad of Mike and James Melville. Preceded in death by his sisters Muriel (Robert) Lambert and Carol (Ronald) Patterson Jr. Further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Lanny was a very proud honorably discharged veteran of the United States Navy. He served on the USS Talbot #DEG-4 1968-1972. He also was a devoted member for many years of St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Bayview, Wisconsin. Lanny was a very humble, kind and caring person who enjoyed life and helping others as he could. He will be dearly missed!

Visitation Friday, December 22, 2023 from 2:00 P.M.-4:00 P.M. at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 3200 South Herman Street Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53207. Funeral Service at 4:00 P.M. Interment and Military Honors Saturday 12:00 Noon at Pinelawn Memorial Park, 10700 W Capitol Dr. Milwaukee, WI 53222 . (Please meet directly inside the cemetery entrance at 11:45 A.M.)
