(nee Striebich) Finally found peace from the dementia that took her from us theses last ten years on Tuesday, March 7, 2017, age 95 years. Reunited in heaven with her husband Charles, three of her four brothers, and her parents. Kit was born in Pittsburgh, PA on January 28, 1922. She proudly graduated from Duquesene University and Mercy School of Nursing before coming to Milwaukee to begin her career at Columbia Hospital. She met Charles on a blind date and they were married during one of the worst snowstorms in history on February 3, 1951. Kit is survived by her brother James Striebich, her three children Judi (David) Caruso, Kerry Hendricksen and JoAnn (Bob) Dettlaff; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews scattered all over the country. Kit and Chuck spent many years enjoying their cottage in Northern Wisconsin and sailing Lake Michigan. We would like to thank the staff at Harbour House and Franciscan Villa for all the wonderful care they gave our mother.
