Passed away peacefully after a long fight on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at the age of 75. Devoted wife and life partner of 53 years to Larry Chester. Loving mom of Sheila Chester. Caring sister of Judith Taczala. Aunt of Victoria (Michael) Buck, Lisa Hencsik, the late Corey Taczala, Jimmy Taczala, Stephanie Hencsik, Donald Collins, Nicholas Chester, Carissa (Joey) Dean, Michael Chester. Sister in law of Sheri Collins, Jerry Chester, Gary Chester, Judy Pennepacker, and Mary Chester. Godmother of Scott (Cindy) Knoff. Preceded in death by her parents Harold and Merle Evans; sisters Sharon Evans and Shannon (the late Stephen) Hencsik. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Kris will always be remembered for her tremendous fight, her green thumb and love of animals. She was the quintessential "social butterfly" and could start an conversation with anyone anywhere. Kris was always there to help. Whether it was to give a neighbor a ride or assist in some random task, Kris could be counted on. Kris' family will be hosting a memorial service on SATURDAY, July 3, 2021 at Wisconsin Memorial Park's Family Center, 13235 W. Capitol Dr, Brookfield, at 1 PM with a luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Wisconsin Humane Society in Kris' memory are appreciated.
