Kenneth Richard McCafferty, Born on October 25, 1945 and passed away on February 2, 2022 at Ascension Franklin Hospital at 9:42 pm after a long struggle with COPD. Age 76 years. Ken is survived by his wife Evelyn (Lyn). He was the proud father of 9 children; 6 sons and 3 daughters, and many grandchildren. He is survived by his children; Kenneth McCafferty (Cheryl), William Joseph McCafferty, Heather Mueller (Nate),Terri Mielke (James), Rick Hartline (Tracey), Anthony McCafferty (Kim), Jeremy Hartline (Joél),Tim McCafferty (Jen) and Katrina Tregellas (Kenny). His grandchildren; Ryan, Jacob, Aaron, Danielle, Morgan, Jess, Austin, Sawyer, Kyra, Chance, Alyssa, Samantha, Evan, Brenna, Braeden, Kyler and Kordin. His great-grandchild, Daxton.Dear brother of Jean Allmon (John) and Robin Betchner (Gary). Preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Ladonna and his brother Fred.
Ken proudly served his country in the US Navy MMFN E-3 ( Machinist's mate fireman Seaman). He served two tours in Vietnam. Ken worked for Wisconsin Bell/Ameritech/ ATT for 30 years as a systems technician. Ken loved hunting, fishing, camping, anything that had to do with the great outdoors. He was scout master to his son's Cub Scout/ Boy Scout troops. He also was an incredibly talented artist dabbling in painting, wood burning, drawing, stained glass, and woodworking. His family has many treasured pieces of his art. Ken had an amazing sense of Irish humor and was always telling jokes and stories. Ken was very active in the Oak Creek Lions club and served as their president in 2018-2019 Ken will be greatly missed and fondly remembered. Memorial Visitation SATURDAY, February 12, 2022 from 10:30AM-12:00PM at Resurrection Lutheran Church 213 E Howard Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53207. Memorial Service at 12:00PM. Private inurnment Southern Wisconsin Veteran's Memorial Cemetery.
