(nee Berzowski) Thursday, January 15, 2009, age 97 years. Devoted wife of the late Joseph Idzikowski. Loving mother of William (Doris) Idzikowski, Alice Marion and John (Lisa) Idzikowski; Dearest grandmother of Marie and Andrew Idzikowski, Samantha and Henry Marion and Tristin, Emma and Casey Idzikowski. Dear sister of Roman Berzowski of Memphis, TN.. Preceded in death by her parents, Roman and Helen Berzowski, brothers Mitchell and Clemens Berzowski and sister Dorothy Arazny. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation at the Funeral Home Monday, Jan. 19th, 4-8 PM and Tuesday, 9:30-10 AM. Funeral Service at the Funeral Home, Tuesday at 10 AM. Interment to follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery. Kay attended South Division and Bay View High School barracks and was in the first graduating class at the then new Bay View High School in 1928. She had visited Poland in 1937 and again in 1983 to visit relatives. In the post World War 2 era, she and her sister sent many aid packages to relatives in Poland to aid in their post war recovery. She was also the organist for many years at Holy Name Polish National Catholic Church. In 1933 she became the accompanist for the Milwaukee Circle Choir of the United Choirs of the Western Diocese of the Polish National Catholic Church and served in that capacity for over 40 years. Kay also served on the staff of the church credit union. Kay's children were involved in music in the Milwaukee Public Schools and she accompanied many Milwaukee area high school and elementary school musicians in the annual MPS Music Soloist and Ensemble Tournament in the 1960's and 1970's.
