Kathy danced her way into heaven on Monday, January 6, 2025, at the age of 64. Beloved wife of the late Frank Nowicki. Loving mother of Joe (Rachel), Matthew, and Alex Nowicki. Proud grandmother of Minka, Julius, and Kai Nowicki. Cherished sister of Mary (Duane) Kantowski, Sylvia Hedin, Michael, and Tom Lukasik. Daughter-in-law of Constance Nowicki. Nieces, nephews, and countless friends.

Kathy earned an accounting degree from Marquette University and had a lengthy career at the Milwaukee Catholic Herald as an accountant and business manager.

While a member of St. Augustine of Hippo Parish, she served on parish council, was the treasurer of St. Vincent DePaul, and participated in meal programs, fish fries, and festivals.

Being a mother of three boys, Kathy was immersed in their school and sporting activities. As a result, her life was full of adventure, travel, and lifelong friendships.

A vibrant celebration of Kathy's life will be held at St. Augustine of Hippo Catholic Church, 2350 S. Howell Avenue, Milwaukee, on Thursday, January 16. Visitation from 2:00 until 4:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 4:00 pm.

Following Kathy's Primary Progressive Aphasia diagnosis, she lived at Discovery Commons Glendale (formerly Heartis Memory Care). We extend a special thank you to Keyona and her staff for the compassionate and loving care Kathy received.
