(nee Krenke) Passed away on Thursday June 22, 2023 at age 75. Loving wife of the late Henry Ebert Jr. Doting, selfless and cherished mom of Eric (Heather Kloman) Ebert and Erin (Steve) Cohn. Proud grandma "Peety" of Morgan Ebert. Beloved sister of Thomas Krenke. Dear sister-in-law of Chelene (Bing) Golownia.

Words cannot possibly describe everything that Kathy was. She gave her everything for her family. She spent so much of her time caring and being strong for her family that she rarely took time to care for herself. She would routinely make sacrifices to ensure that her family had not only what was needed but what was wanted. She was protector, confidant and friend.

While she had many jobs throughout her life to support her family and keep herself busy, her primary focus was always her family. Throughout her life, in her leisure time she enjoyed reading romance novels, watching Care Bears with her granddaughter, liking everything her kids posted on Facebook, watching her son perform, playing Bingo and watching the Food Network. Her deviled eggs were a staple at every family gathering. What she did was secondary to who she was however, which was a wife, mother and caregiver. Even in the last years of her life when her health started to decline, she was more concerned about her kids than she was about herself.

While she was only at Oak Park Place for seven months, she quickly became an integral part of the community and was much loved by the residents and staff. She will be missed by many.
