Katherine died peacefully at home on April 2nd at the age of 95. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Pete and son Joe and is survived by her son Phil and daughter Rosalie. Katie was a wonderful mother. Her love and support, kindness, generosity and endearing sense of humor will not be forgotten. God bless our sweet mom. Thank you to Dr. Roger Torres for his excellent care of Katie over the past ten years and Fr. Timothy Kitzke for his kindness and continued concern for her. Many thanks also to the dedicated and very hardworking staff at Heartland Home Health Care and Hospice, especially Sarah and Rebekkah, for giving an abundance of help and compassion to Katie and her family at a very difficult time. A visitation will take place on Tuesday, April 6 at THREE HOLY WOMEN PARISH-ST. RITA CHURCH, 1601 N. Cass Street, from 9:30-11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM.
