Gruenewald, Karen E. (nee Seitz) Joined her beloved husband Glenn on Saturday, March 31, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Devoted mother of Brad and Todd (Theresa) Gruenewald. Proud grammy of Ava and Ellie. Adopted grammy of Kayla Chmielewski. Also, remembered by other dear relatives and special friends. Karen was born April 10, 1940 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Roman and Helen (Kendal) Seitz. She graduated from Pius High School. She married Glenn Gruenewald in 1963 in Milwaukee. Karen enjoyed working at the MPS school lunch program when her sons were young. Karen retired after many years from Stainless Foundry & Engineering Company. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother George and sister Romona. Visitation at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 from 10:00-11:30am. Celebration of Karens life to follow at 11:30am. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Shiners Hospital for Children are appreciated.
