Karen Ann Awe

(nee Olsen) Found Peace on Wednesday, April 22, 2026. Age 76 years. Beloved wife of the late Darrell. Dear mom of Jodi Awe (Jim Werwinski) and Douglas Awe. Cherished sister of Keith (the late Karla) Olsen, Gail Olsen, the late Curtis, the late Gary Olsen and the late Michael Olsen. Loving aunt of Linda and Deanne; Bryan (Kate), Lisa and Christine (Scott); Ryan. Adored great-aunt Marc; Xaviar and Alexander. Karen is also preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Ruth Olsen.

Her family would like to extend a very special thank you to the staff at Personally Yours Elder Care and Badger Hospice for the exceptional care given to Karen in her final days.

Throughout her life Karen loved spending time outdoors. She loved to crochet and enjoyed knitting. What Karen loved most in life was riding her Kawasaki 750.

She loved to make people laugh. Karen was well known making sure everyone knew her joke of the day.

Private Services Will Be Held. Interment Arlington Park Cemetery.
