Cherished daughter of Kristen Durant and David Schultz. Dear sister of Daniel Durant Schultz and Michael Schultz. Preceded in death by loving grandparents Ralph and Dorthe Durant and Roy and Dolores Schultz. Survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Katie was born on February 25, 1996, in West Allis, WI. As a child, she enjoyed interacting with people of all ages. She had an exuberance for life and an outgoing personality. Katie was energetic, caring, artistic, had an infectious laugh, liked to look at the bright side of things, and was an independent thinker.
Katie graduated in 2020 from UWM with a double major in Psychology and English. She had high ambitions to work in social services. She enjoyed reading, writing, painting, Harry Potter, tennis, amusement parks, Door County, museums and creating beautiful fairy gardens.
Katie left us much too soon and will be deeply missed. Her loving spirit is her legacy to those who will hold her close in their hearts forever.
