Born on October 3, 1959, in Mexico City, Mexico, Oscar brought warmth and joy to all who knew him, making Milwaukee, Wisconsin, his home, where he lived with unwavering spirit and love.

Oscar was a devoted father to his sons, Israel, Jonathan, and Oskar Gonzalez Fernandez, who carry forth his legacy of independence, hard work, and familial devotion. As a doting grandfather, he found boundless joy in his grandchildren, Ruben and Junior Gonzalez Ruiz, who were the shining stars of his life. Oscar had a strong connection to all of his nieces and nephews; he was a family man that anyone can count on. A dedicated accountant for over 20 years in the finance industry, he approached every task with diligence and integrity, always striving for excellence.

Beyond numbers and spreadsheets, Oscar's heart thrummed with the rhythm of life's simple pleasures. A maestro in the kitchen, he delighted friends and family with his delectable Mexican cuisine, sharing cherished recipes like precious heirlooms. His laughter and love were as rich as the flavors he masterfully crafted, creating cherished memories around the dinner table.

A passionate sports enthusiast, Oscar proudly supported his favorite soccer teams, the Pumas, Chivas, and the national team, while also cheering on the Milwaukee Bucks and his grandchildren. He carried the grace of a coach, nurturing his children and grandchildren's talents on the basketball court with the same fervor he displayed for life itself.

An easygoing and outgoing soul, Oscar embraced each day with a smile, offering wisdom and advice that guided loved ones toward their dreams and aspirations. His enthusiasm and positivity illuminated every gathering, making him a cherished presence in the lives of family and friends alike.

His family invites you to join them in celebrating a life so well-lived and a spirit so bright. A funeral visitation will be held on January 30, 2025 from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM at the funeral home with a service to follow after, where we will gather to honor the life of this remarkable man. Together, we will share stories, laughter, and tears, cherishing the legacy left behind by a true titan of love, wisdom, and joy.

Nacido el 3 de octubre de 1959 en la Ciudad de México, Oscar trajo calidez y alegría a todos los que lo conocieron, haciendo de Milwaukee, Wisconsin, su hogar, donde vivió con espíritu y amor inquebrantables.

Llevaba la gracia de un entrenador, alimentando los talentos de sus hijos y nietos en la cancha de baloncesto con el mismo fervor que mostraba por la vida misma.

Un alma tranquila y extrovertida, Oscar abrazaba cada día con una sonrisa, ofreciendo sabiduría y consejos que guiaban a sus seres queridos hacia sus sueños y aspiraciones. Su entusiasmo y positividad iluminaban cada reunión, convirtiéndolo en una presencia apreciada en la vida de familiares y amigos por igual, no olvidando su fervor y devocion hacia la Virgen de Guadalupe.

El velorio fúnebre se llevará a cabo el jueves 30 del 2025 en la funeraria con un servicio a continuación, donde nos reuniremos para honrar la vida de este hombre extraordinario.
