Julian Nava "The Mex"

Born into eternal life on Tuesday, December 3rd, 2024, aged 77 years. Beloved husband of Elaine Nava for 41 years. Cherished father of Lisa (Greg) Meye, Richard (Julie) Alvarado, Antonio (Elizabeth) Alvarado, and Jessica Nava-Banach (Chad Banach). Loving grandfather of Terry (Edna), Richard, Cristina (Cal), Nick, Aaron, Joshua (Andrea), Sophie Jean, Ryan, Nicholas, LizaBean, Valerie, and Cheryl. Dear great-grandfather of seven great-grandchildren. Further survived by many nieces, nephews, friends, and his special companion Chaquito. Preceded in death by his son, John Martin Alvarado and his granddaughter, Estrella Mariah Nava-Banach.

Julian worked 37 years for the city of Milwaukee as a heavy equipment operator, meeting many friends and proudly retired in 1996. He listened to a lot of music with some of his favorite artists being The Rolling Stones, Willie Nelson, Louis Armstrong, and BB King. Julian loved to eat all types of food, especially Mexican food. Julian was an excellent story teller, sharing many of the experiences he had living in Milwaukee. He was a DIE HARD Chicago Bears Fan. Bear Down, Chicago Bears! He was most happy being with his family and spending quality time with his grandkids.
