Age 72, of Milwaukee, found eternal peace after gracefully battling cancer on Sat. Sept. 30, 2006. Joyce is survived by her beloved husband Dan with whom she shared 55 years of marriage. Further survived by her children; Tom (Janis), Mark (Loryn), Terry (Kathi), Todd (Julie), Kim (Simon) Corben, and Myles. Also, survived by her grandchildren with whom she shared a special love; Christopher, Debra (Adam) Geiger, Eryn, Colin, Jeffrey, Kelly, and Sara and Alex Corben. Joyce is preceded in death by her mother Rose (nee Dorval), stepfather Alvin Burwick and grandchild Jason Wilde. Further survived by brothers Andrew & Arthur (Beth), sister Delores (Glen) Homelvig and other cherished extended family. Joyce and the family would also like to acknowledge life long special friends; Dorothy Zahn, Angie Klusmann and Sr. Rosemary Kugel. Joyce would also like to thank the many who prayed for her, the extraordinary care provided by Dr. Margery Howard, the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic and the wonderful staff on the Oncology (12th ) floor at St. Luke's Medical Center. Joyce's love, intelligence, and wit will be greatly missed by her family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic at St. Luke's Medical Center.
