It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Joyce Claire Francis, 91, on March 22, 2025, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Joyce was born on January 8, 1934 in Menominee, Michigan, to the late Chester and Dora (Vogltanz) DeVoe. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years , Raymond J. Francis, who was the love of her life, and by her brother, Ralph, and sisters, Marie, Lorraine (Michael Fowler), and Bernice (Paul Ellmann). She leaves behind her beloved children: Roberta Francis-Tourloukis, Scott, Christian (Helen) and Brian (Jennifer). Her adored grandchildren; Anastasia Garman, Adam, Marla, Pete, Raymond, Timothy, George, Maizy, and Rhys, and her cherished great-grandchildren; Sophie, Kento, and Komachi. She was also blessed with numerous dear nieces and nephews, and many life-long friends.

Joyce was an artistic soul and a free spirit who loved travel, interior design and fashion. She met and befriended people from all walks of life and never said no to an adventure. Over the years, she and her family lived in Milwaukee, Brookfield, Wisconsin, Antonito, Colorado, New Port Richey, Florida, and Las Vegas, Nevada. Her warmth and generosity and her bright smile will be missed by many.

Memorial Visitation will be Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at St. Veronica Congregation, 4001 S. Whitnall Ave, from 11 AM to 12 Noon. Mass of Christian Burial at 12 Noon. Inurnment to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
