(nee Giuffre) Born to Teresa Micale and Joseph Giuffre February 5, 1933 in Milwaukee, WI. Born to Eternal life March 12, 2021. Beloved wife of Cyril, whom she now joins in heaven. Predeceased by her parents and brother Philip (Grace). Loving mother of Therese (Michael) Salzer, Thomas (Mollie) Mescher, Robert (Lisa) Mescher, Mary (Patrick) Topp and Christine Mescher. Loving "Grandma Jo" of Marcus (Anne), Kathryn (Matthew), Sarah (Chris), Brian (Whitney), Adam (Brittany), Amy (Dominic), Jeanna (Alex), Leah (Omar), and Tessa. Proud great-grandmother of 17. Further survived by brothers-in law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Josephine was a devout Christian, inspiring teacher, world traveler, avid hiker, voracious reader, crossword puzzle enthusiast, and talented baker of biscotti, pasta, meatballs, and breaded steak. She remained strong, stoic, and selfless to the end and exemplified the ultimate living of the Golden Rule. Memorial Visitation on Friday, April 23rd, 10:00-11:00 AM at St. Veronica Parish, 4001 S.
