Predeceased by her parents and brother Philip (Grace). Loving mother of Therese (Michael) Salzer, Thomas (Mollie) Mescher, Robert (Lisa) Mescher, Mary (Patrick) Topp and Christine Mescher. Loving "Grandma Jo" of Marcus (Anne), Kathryn (Matthew), Sarah (Chris), Brian (Whitney), Adam (Brittany), Amy (Dominic), Jeanna (Alex), Leah (Omar), and Tessa. Proud great-grandmother of 17. Further survived by brothers-in law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Josephine was a devout Christian, inspiring teacher, world traveler, avid hiker, voracious reader, crossword puzzle enthusiast, and talented baker of biscotti, pasta, meatballs, and breaded steak.
