Born August 4, 1931, in Porticello, Sicily, to James and Maria (nee Crivello) Puccio, and died August 13, 2025 in Greenfield, Wisconsin. Devoted mother to Linda (Brian) Lecus and Karen (Brad) Roberts; doting grandmother to Jennifer and Michael Lecus and Gina (Rob) Michel; fond great-grandmother to Jack Basterash, and loving sister to Rosie (the late Norb) Schulze. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends, including special niece and "third daughter," Christine Hallen. Preceded in death by brothers, Frank and Peter Puccio; brother-in-law Norb Schulze and sister-in-law, LaVerne Karolus.

Nothing in this world meant more to Josie than her family, though she did love her gambling trips. She made friends everywhere she went and accepted people for who they were. A special thanks to the staffs of Hales Corners Care Center, The Woods, and Brighton Hospice.
