Kulakowski, Joseph C. "Dr. Ku-Ku"
Was called home to our Lord on Monday, July 13, 2015. Age 76 years. Born April 15th, 1939, Joe was a witty, fun loving, unique and caring individual who touched the lives of all who knew him. Joe is survived by his wife Marlene, and their children, Kim (Clarence) Weisflog, Lynn (Charles) Wickens, Dean (Mandy Haines) Kulakowski, his adored grandchildren; Ruchell (Nick) Fucile, Clarence (Nicole Grahm) Weisflog, Mason Kulakowski; greatly loved great grandchildren; Brooklynn and Rocco Fucile. Joe is also survived by his dear and loving sister Rosemarie Jackson (Ron Weston); brother-in-law Jim (Nancy Brzezinski), nephews, nieces and many other dear family members and great friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Catherine Kulakowski; and his brother John Faye.
Visitation at the Funeral Home FRIDAY, July 17, 2015 from 4:00-6:00 PM. Funeral Services and Military Honors at 6:00 PM. Entombment Saturday, 11:00 AM at Arlington Park Cemetery. Please meet directly inside the cemetery entrance at 10:45 AM.
Joe married the love of his life Marlene Grusheski in 1959 and raised three loving children. He was totally dedicated to his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren in every aspect of their lives. His normal greeting was, "Hey, I haven't gotten my hug from you today." Joe was a proud retiree from the Milwaukee Fire Department. He continued to enjoy the company of his fire fighter brethren up until the day he passed away. The family would like to thank all of the nurses and staff on E3 and T10 at St. Luke's Hospital for their great care. In lieu of flowers, monetary donations are appreciated and will be divided among the Retired Fire & Police Association and other charities that Joe supported.
