Graveside services were held MONDAY at Holy Trinity Cemetery. Joe was a graduate of Cudahy High School and received a degree in Mechanical Engineering from UW Madison. He was a Navy Veteran of World War II and a retiree of Barber-Greene. He was a creative inventor and held the patent for the world's largest rock crusher along with many world-wide patents.
