Passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2012 age 79. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife for 51 years, Julia (nee Hyndman). Loving father of Therese, Lynda (Kevin) Dew, Joseph (Janice), Moira Vacula, Julia (Ben) Westphal, Douglas (Katie), and David (Sharon). Proud poppie of Joe, Jake, Nick, Ben, Mitch, Max, Ian, Shelby, Molly, Anthony, Ali, Gabby, Nic, Casey, Emily, Ronnie, Francis, Sofia, and Evelyn. Dear brother of Thomas (Lorraine). Brother-in-law of the late Anne (Chris) Meenan, John (Nancy) Hyndman, Mary (Robert) Simon, and Robert (Faye) Hyndman. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 2012, from 3:00PM-6:15PM at ST. MARY CATHOLIC FAITH COMMUNITY, 9520 W. Forest Home Ave., Hales Corners. Mass of Christian burial at 6:30PM. Joe graduated from Marquette University and was Captain on the 1959 football team. He was also a longtime member of the Hales Corners American Legion and VFW Posts, as well as the World Series Club. He worked for Amcon Corp. and was the owner of Anderer Realty.
