Born March 19, 1932 in Decatur, IN, died June 12, 2011 in Rochester, MN. Loving husband of 57 years to Janet S. Adams who passed in March. Devoted father of Kathleen L. (Scott) Wickman. Dear grandfather of Lauren, Brennan and Sean. Son of the late Bernice Sorg Adams. Brother-in-law of Rita (David) Moore, Patricia (Steve) Spoltman, the late James Osterman, Nita Gidley, Julia Gilles, Warren (Barbara) Gidley and George (Sonja) Gilles. Joseph was a sales representative with Herff Jones for over 30 years. He was extremely active at St. Stephens Parish; involved with Human Concerns, Dinners and Parish Council. He had been an external volunteer assessor for over 20 years at Alverno College and was active in the Bong Eagles, an antique airplane modelers club. He loved traveling, bird watching and Men's Marquette Basketball. Above all else, Joseph dearly loved and was dearly loved by his family. Memorial visitation Tuesday, June 21st 10-11am at ST.
