Took his last ride on July 3, 2014. Age 75. Loving husband of Carol (nee May) for 50 years. Dear father of Patrick (Gail), Sheri Power and Kelly (Manuel) Cruz. Grandfather of Manuel Jr. and Sierra Cruz. Brother of Thomas, Paul C. Jr. and Juliet Ethirveerasingam. Preceded in death by his parents Paul C. Sr. and Edith Power and his sister Mary Jurkiewicz.. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Visitation WEDNESDAY, July 9, 2014 from 9:30-11AM at The Church of Immaculate Conception, 1023 E. Russell Ave. Mass of Christian burial at 11AM. Interment and Military Honors to follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery. John was a lifelong member and volunteer of Immaculate Conception Church. He was also a Harley rider and enthusiast. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to church or The Wounded Warrior Project.
