Monday, November 19, 2007, at age 81 years. Preceded in death by his beloved wife Jeanne and daughter Deborah Schier. Loving father of Beth (the late Eric) Meyer and John (Gayle) Pavlik. Cherished brother of Audrey Pavlik. Proud grandfather of John (Andrea) and Jeff (Denise) Pavlik, Christine (Robert) Harman, Anna and Sara Meyer. Dear great-grandfather of Ethan Harman, Gregg and Michael Pavlik. Further survived by other close family and friends. John was a US Air Force veteran of WWII and Korea and retired from the City of Milwaukee in 1988 as Chief Engineer in charge of Street Lighting. Retirement included travels with the love of his life Jeanne, and being attentive to her in her final years, their love remained with him his entire life. John was a Past Master of J.M. Rusk Lodge No. 259, a Past Patron of Vega Chapter No. 76 OES and Faith Chapet No. 286 OES, a member of Wisconsin Scottish Rite Bodies and Tripoli Shrine.
