Found eternal peace on Wednesday, December 27, 2017, age 86 years. Beloved husband of Audrey (nee Mohr) for 65 years. Loving father of Gail (Craig) Ellsworth, Keith (Patty) and the late Jimmy Olbrantz. Proud grandfather of Sarah (Joe) Lesch, Eric (Erica) Ellsworth, Jessica (Josh) Bilitz, Julie and Michael Olbrantz. Fond great-grandpa of Isaac, Owen, Olivia, Remy and Cora. Dearest brother of Florence Newkirk, Ceil Miller, the late Dorothy Schmidt and the late Richard Olbrantz. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family, friends and his walking buddy, Tony Belsky. John was a lifelong member of St. Adalbert and Divine Mercy Parishes, a retiree of Kyle Corporation, a volunteer of South Milwaukee Interfaith, South Milwaukee Lions and Kiwanis Clubs. He was also a longtime member of the Grant Park Senior Mens Club and a U.S. Army veteran.
