Matyka, John T. Born to eternal life on Sunday, January 14, 2007 age 90 years. Beloved husband of the late Irene Matyka. Dearest father of Bonnie (Thomas) Smyczek and Denise Matyka (Margaret McMurray). Proud grandfather of Thomas (Stefanie), Patrick and Maria. Proud great-grandfather of newborn Miles. Brother of Frank, Lucy, Charles, Peter and Paul. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Visitation SAT. Jan. 20th at ST. John proudly served his country during WWII in the U.S. Army and was the recipient of the Silver Star. He was a retiree of MMSD.
