Devoted son of Bozidar and Olga (nee Cukovich) Also survived by friends and numerous relatives in Yugoslavia, Croatia and Italy. John served in WW II and was awarded the Silver Medal of Valor by the Allied Liberation Forces for his efforts in saving downed American pilots.
