Born to eternal life on Tuesday, March 13, 2012, age 67 years. Beloved husband for 47 years of Jean (nee Gelling). Loving dad of Joe (Diane) Geiger, Chris (Joe) Breier and Jeff (Jakki) Geiger. Proud "Papa" of Alyssa and Alex Breier and Jake Geiger. Dearest brother-in-law of Raymond (Beth) Gelling, Clifford Gelling, Melvin (Sharon) Gelling, Joan (John) Doering, Elaine Abendroth, Susan Gelling and the late Paul Gelling. Also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, other family and friends. John was a retiree of the Allen Bradley Company after 37 years. He was a motorcycle enthusiast, enjoying rides when time permitted; an avid book reader and enjoyed his time with his grandchildren on the numerous nature trails. A sincere thank you to the doctors, nurses and staffs of St. Luke's Medical Center and the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic for the years of care you gave John and also to the staff of the Visiting Nurse Association for caring for John and his family during his final days with us.
