Dear brother of Michael (the late Linda) Frye, Nancy (Murray) Russell, Allan Degner, Barbara (Werner) Klein, Roland (Rosemary) Degner and Leon Degner. Preceded in death by his parents, Melvin Frye and Elizabeth Betty Degner and his sister Juliane Connie Kartz. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. John proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a talented and accomplished guitar player on the Milwaukee music scene.
