Celichowski, Dr. John J. Born into this life in Milwaukee on August 26, 1939 to Eugene Celichowski and Sophie Celichowski (nee Zawodny). Born into life eternal in Milwaukee on August 10, 2017. A proud 3 M-er: Marquette H.S. (1957), Marquette University (1961), Marquette U. Dental School (1969). Practiced dentistry for nearly four decades, first in Milwaukee and then in Stevens Point. Survivors include two former wives (Camilla Meyer and Kathleen Wright); a sister, Mary (Mimi) Miller of Arizona; eight children Fr. John, Chris (Bonnie), Tim (Michelle), Sarah Spella (Dean), Kerry McCue (Michael), Amy, Emily and Kristen; ten grandchildren and one nephew. Services will be held on Monday, August 14 at Ss. Peter & Paul Church, 2490 N. Cramer St., Milwaukee. Rosary and visitation at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM, with his son, Fr. John Celichowski, OFM Cap., presiding. Burial at St. Adalbert Cemetery, Milwaukee. The family is grateful for the care that John received at Tender Reflections of Germantown and earlier at Riverview Lodge in Stevens Point, as well as at Froedtert Hospital and the Center for Advanced Care in Milwaukee. They are also grateful for the support and prayers of many friends and Capuchin friars as John made his final journey. Donations in his memory may be made to Marquette University.
