Bauman, John H.

Age 92 of South Milwaukee, Wisconsin (formerly from West Allis and Caledonia)

passed away June 18, 2023. He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin,

the son of Burton and Margaret (nee Seelman) Bauman.

John retired in 1998 after 30+ years with various commercial refrigeration/air conditioning contractors. Chairman (1974-2001) and Registrar (2001-2016) of the Wisconsin Masters Swim Committee. Founder of the Wisconsin Masters Aquatic Club, Director of numerous Masters swim meets. Member (1999-2010) of the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Senior Olympics. Commissioner and business manager (1963-1987) of the Caddy Vista Sanitary District, Caledonia, WI. School Board member (1960-1962) of the former Caddy Vista School District.

Preceded in death by parents Burton and Margaret (nee Seelman) Bauman,

brothers, James Burton, Bradley, William and Thomas Bauman,

daughter Paula Pifer-Wewers, ex-wife Barbara (nee Gutowski) and companion Ingrid Stine.

Survived by daughters Lizabeth aka Betsy Bauman, Peggy (Ron) Winiarski, Barbara aka Babe (Jeff) Trentadue, sons John R. (Paula) Bauman and Robert (Renee) Bauman, son-in-law Fran Wewers, 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, brother Mark Bauman, nieces, nephews, cousins and fellow Masters swimmers.

Per John's request, no funeral or memorial service will be held.
