Joel Sandoval Delgadillo was born to Eternal Life on December 18, 2025 at the age of 76. Loving husband of Gail Sandoval (nee Krueger). Cherished father of Nicolas (Courtney Nikolay), Christopher (Elena Hernandez) and Laura (Joseph Waldman) Sandoval. Adoring grandpa of Lewis Sandoval Waldman. Beloved son of Estela (the late Jesus) Sandoval. Dear brother of Ofelia Villarreal and Jesse (Anita) Sandoval. A cousin to kin in the U.S and in his birth country of Mexico. A brother-in-law, an uncle to nieces and nephews, and a friend to so many.
Joel attended grade school, Notre Dame High School and received his B.S. in Fine Arts from UW-Milwaukee. He worked at Pabst Brewery for many years before becoming an independent contractor for home repairs, painting, and carpentry.
Joel had a mind for art, philosophy, and theology. He had a caring heart, always ensuring his family and friends, the animals in his care, and anything entrusted to him were well taken care of. In his young adult years, you could find him on his Harley motorcycle or listening to live jazz at his favorite spots in Milwaukee. In his middle aged years, you could find him gardening in the backyard or at Home Depot buying his next tool. In his older years, you could find him enjoying his impressive collection of books and music or enjoying a sunset cocktail alongside his loving wife of 50 years.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 29, 2025 from 9:30AM to 12:30PM at THE FUNERAL HOME. A Catholic vigil service will follow, at 12:30PM. Interment at Forest Home Cemetery & Arboretum.
