It is with a heavy heart yet a spirit of celebration that we remember the life of Joel Anthony Pena, who left us far too soon on October 31, 2026, at the age of 39. Born on December 3, 1986, in Milwaukee, WI, Joel was a cherished father to Laila and Clara Pena, who will carry forward his vibrant spirit and love.
Joel was the beloved son of Emanuel (Barb Davis) Pena and Jodi (Barbara Ellis) Pero, and a devoted brother to Naomi (Dave) Watkins, Alexandria Pena, Jamie Pena, and the late Dylan Pena. He was a dear grandson to Audrey Pero and a special Uncle-Brother to Devin and Brent, bringing joy and laughter to the lives of his many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his loving girlfriend, Kate, other family members, and numerous friends who were fortunate enough to know him.
A proud Native and Mexican American, Joel's passion for life shone brightly in everything he did. As a dedicated production manager in the conveyor components manufacturing industry, he exemplified commitment and excellence in his work. Outside of his profession, Joel was an avid fan of Wisconsin sports and found immense joy in listening to music, which mirrored his vibrant personality that lit up every room.
Visitation on Friday, November 6, 2026, 10:00am-1:00pm at Prasser-Kleczka Funeral Home, Bay View Chapel, 3275 S. Howell Ave., Milwaukee. Funeral Service at 1:00 pm. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to benefit Joel's children.
Let us come together to celebrate the life of a remarkable man who touched so many lives with his kindness, laughter, and unwavering spirit. In this time of remembrance, we honor the joy he brought to our lives.
