Joanne Wallich (nee Marszalek)

In loving memory of Joanne Wallich (76) of Milwaukee, WI. Born to Eternal Life on March 20th, 2023. Daughter of Joseph and Victoria Marszalek, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her children and granddaughter, Kayla.

Joanne was a hard-working mother of three who put her kids first. In her early years, she was a telephone operator and later worked as a Cardiac Evaluation Specialist for many years until her retirement. She loved Halloween and The Grinch. Her favorite phrase was "Bah Humbug!" Yet, she made Christmas so special that her kids love Christmas. And she loved to say, "see you later alligator, after while crocodile." She loved animals and always fed her "Critters," in her yard. She donated a lot to charities; Humane Society, ASPCA, Wounded and Paralyzed Veterans, PBS and more.

Joanne loved the Piano and learned to play in adulthood. She spent quality time with her kids playing board games and making crafts; beaded Xmas ornaments and cross-stitch, building Legos and playing ATARI! She was a caring, generous person who was there in many ways to help out family and loved ones when needed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters; Loretta Ciezki, Dolores Schneidler, and Genevieve Roundy. and by James Wallich, spouse.

She is survived by her children; Shelley Wallich, Laurie (Lenny Pfeffer), Tim Wallich (Laura nee Karvonen). Grandchildren; Kayla, Elizabeth, and Jesse; Alyssa and Michael; Kelly and Joey. As well as step-grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and other family and friends.
