Obituary

(nee Harris) Was born to this life January 28, 1945 and was born to eternal life on February 2, 2009. Joanne was the proud wife of Ted, mom of Sarah and grandma of Trinity Rose. Dear mother-in-law of Christopher White. Cherished sister of Pauline and Christine Harris. Dear sister-in-law of Rick Ratzlaff, Barb and Erv Kocorowski, Ray and Mary Krukowski. Further survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and nephews, other family and friends. Memorial visitation at the Funeral Home Friday, February 6, 2009 from 4-8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday 10 AM at THE BASILICA OF ST. JOSAPHAT, S. 6th and W. Lincoln Ave. (Please meet at church by (9:50 AM). Joanne was a retiree of Allen-Bradley after 37 years of service and was a member of U.E. Local 1111. She had been a licensed Cosmetologist since 1965. Enjoying her family, especially her granddaughter, pursuing various crafts and spending time with her friends enriched her retirement years. Thank you to the outstanding and most caring teams at Oncology Alliance, The Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic and the 12th floor care givers at St. Luke's Medical Center. A special thanks to Dr. Robert Taylor and Dr. Charles Brummitt for their care and efforts. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Joanne's name to the BloodCenter of Wisconsin.
