(nee Jost) Born to Eternal Life on Monday, July 27, 2026. Age 96 years. Beloved wife of the late Thomas E. Huber. Loving mom of Thomas M. (Zora) Neuhold-Huber, the late Terence Huber and the late Mark Huber. Cherished grandfather of Kai (Ariel) Neuhold-Huber. Adored sister of Ellin (the late Ray) Baranowski, the late Louis (the late Nancy) Jost, the late James Jost, Robert (the late Diane) Jost and the late William Jost. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Joan was born and raised in Milwaukee. She was a graduate of Pius XI High School, class of 1948. She went on to graduate college from Mount Mary. In her working career, Joan was a purchaser for J.C. Penny and she taught Montessori School. For many years she handled all of the accounting for her husband Tom and his auto parts store in West Allis, Andrae Auto Parts. She went on to finish her working years at the Milwaukee County Courthouse where she worked as an accounting clerk. Joan and her husband Tom were proud to be charter members at St. Charles Borromeo Church.

Throughout her life Joan enjoyed reading, listening to classical music and planting in her garden. She will be remembered for kindness and thoughtful nature. The time that she gave to her sons was what she genuinely loved and the memory of home cooked meals despite working full-time will always be cherished and appreciated.
