In Loving Memory of Joan Hrdina

Joan Hrdina (nee Lachacz), 91 of Cudahy passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by her family on October 29, 2024. Known for her warm spirit and kindness, Joan touched the lives of everyone she met. She cherished life's simple joys- reading, golfing, dancing, shopping- spent many years brightening local bakeries with her friendly presence.

Family was everything to Joan. She is survived by her children Linda Hrdina, Jeffrey Hrdina and Jill Hart-Cary (Steve Cary). She was the devoted grandmother of Doug Hart and Shannon Gillette (David). She was a proud great-grandmother to Brady, Hudson and Ethan Gillette. Sister of Dale (Gerry) Lachacz. Dear friend of Joyce Varga. Special Grandmother to Frank, Annie and Charlie. Proceeded in death by her parents Horst and Clara Haugk. Joan is now reunited with her beloved husband Frank. Joan is missed and further survived by nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

Joan's legacy of kindness, love and resilience will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. May her gentle spirit inspire us all to cherish life's simple moments and love deeply.

Memorial visitation on Monday, November 18, 2024 at Divine Mercy Parish, 800 Marquette Ave, South Milwaukee, WI 53172 from 9 AM to 11 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Interment to follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park located at 3301 E Forest Hill Ave, Oak Creek, WI 53154.
