Jesse Romo entered into Eternal Life on Sunday, June 7, 2026 at the age of 56. Loving
dad of Nicole Ramos, Cassandra Ramos, Jessica Romo, and Melissa Romo. Proud
grandpa of Izabella, Amaris, Rolando, Jimi, Lucia and Wednesday. Beloved son of
Blanca Baron and Joe Romo. Caring brother of Jason Romo, Monica Romo and the late
Joe Romo. Further survived by other relatives and friends.
Jesse's life centered around family, sports, good food, animals and fashion. He loved
playing and watching football with his brothers and cousins. While his family rooted for
the Cowboys, Jesse loved his Patriots and the G.O.A.T., Tom Brady. When he wasn't
keeping score, you could find him in the kitchen perfecting his tacos and tostadas, and
while he didn't need your help in the kitchen, he was always eager to share the dishes
he made with love.
A natural born nurturer, Jesse's gentle and warm spirit made him a magnet for animals
and he relished caring for dogs and cats. His daughters might even say that he liked
animals more than them, but he loved Jesse's girls just the same. Being a "girl dad"
wasn't always easy, but Jesse did what he could to show his daughters and
grandchildren that he loved them unconditionally. This included sharing his love for
pool. Jesse was very good and taught his daughters the game, hoping they'd excel.
Cassandra was apparently the only one who paid attend during those lessons.
For work, he used his hands and was generous sharing the home repair lessons that he
learned in a patient and understanding way. He looked the part, frequently donning
Carhart and Wrangler's. Jesse knew how to step it up as well, and when there was an
event, he was well-dressed in a freshly ironed outfit and worked the room with
understated confidence and charism (or "rizz" in the words of his granddaughter).
His family will miss his sincere hugs, looking into those "Romo" eyes and seeing his
bright and beautiful smile.
Visitation FRIDAY, June 19, 2026 at the Funeral Home from 4-7 PM. Funeral Service at
7 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are appreciated.
