Passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at the age of 85. Devoted husband of 66 years to Ellen (nee Forbes) Serdynski. Beloved father of Raymond (Heidi), Matthew (Kim Chizek and the late Christine Serdynski), Wayne (Kathleen), Brenda (Paul) Stern and Vincent (Chrissy) Serdynski. Proud grandpa of Nicole (Mike) Burden, Lisa (Cory) Spahn, Alex (Amanda) Serdynski, Angela Keith, Erica, Amanda, Melissa (Nicholas Fisher) Stern, Amy (Nick) LaMantia, Madelyn Serdynski and Carlyn Serdynski. Great grandpa of 13. Preceeded in death by his siblings Violet Wroblewski, Larry Serdynski and Marcella Zamow. Further survived by other relatives and friends.

Jerry spent over 50 years working in the Hobby retail industry. He spent over 20 years at Casanova's before opening his own store Jerry's Bay View Hobby Shop in 1977. He spent the next 30 years sharing his love of model railroading and other hobbies with countless patrons from all over. He loved his summer vacations up north with his family.

Visitation SATURDAY, February 4, 2023 at St. Augustine of Hippo Church, 2530 S Howell Ave from 11 AM-12 Noon. Mass of Christian Burial at 12 Noon. Inurnment at St. Adalbert Cemetery will take place privately.
