Pawlak, Jerome L. and Diane (nee Lepak) M. Went together to their heavenly home on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 after 61 years of marriage. Jerome was 86 and Diane was 81. They were the loving parents of the late John (Ann), Joseph (Joan Latawiec), James, Leonard and Jerry (Nikki) Pawlak and the very proud grandparents of Melissa (Will) Sellers, Jennifer, Noah, Katarina, Cole, Logan and Emily. Jerome is survived by his siblings Leonard Pawlak, Evelyn (the late Ray) Goossens, Daniel (Helen) Pawlak, Margaret (The late Frank) Parks and the late George (the late Shirley) Pawlak. Diane was preceded by her sister Doris (the late Ron) Krynicki and survived by their children Jill, Mike (Jenny), Tom and the late Cheryl Krynicki. They are also survived by many other loving nieces and nephews, other family and many dear friends.
Jerome was a US Army veteran serving in the Asiatic Pacific Theatre, a retiree of Miller Brewing and a member of Brewery Workers Local No. 9. Diane held many jobs most notably as a cashier at Kohl's Grocery Stores and as a bookkeeper at St. Sebastian's Church and for the Sisters of St. Francis of Assisi.
Mom and dad were devoted parents and instilled the virtues of hard work to their 5 sons. They enjoyed vacationing up north, especially at "Pawlak's Daisy Acres" near Crandon and later at their cottage on White Lake near Weyauwega.
Visitation for Jerome and Diane will be at the Funeral Home on Sunday, August 4, 2013, 3:00-7:00 PM. Funeral on Monday, August 5, 10:00 AM from the Funeral Home to ST. VERONICA CHURCH for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM. Interment to follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
