Jerome Lee Kleppin Sr.
Passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 21, 2024 at the age of 81. Loving husband of the late Annette (nee Miller). Beloved father of Jerome Jr. (Donna) and Richard (Tracey) Kleppin. Dear grandfather of Cari (Jesse) Witzlib, Kimberly (Raynaldo) Roman, Dana Kleppin (Samuel Zabkowicz), Jessica (Richard) Wantland, Lauren and Chase Kleppin and Allison (Douglas Hecht) Kelly-Hecht. Cherished great-grandfather of Madison "Maddie", Jake, Cody, Luke and Ellie Witzlib, Max, Sophia and Mia Roman, Melanie Wantland and Noah Kleppin. Dear brother of Kathy Kavalary, Rose (Victor) Venus, Jim (the late Charlotte), Tom (Geraldine), Jake (Ana). Dear brother-in-law of Betty Kleppin. Preceded in death by his siblings; Kenneth, Helen (the late Bill) Halliday, Ray (Annette), and Erwin "Erv" Kleppin. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Jerome was in the Coast Guard Reserve for 25 years. He also was a proud retired Sgt. for the Milwaukee Police Department for 34 years and spent 27 years as a public safety officer for the City of Oconomowoc. To know Jerome was to know, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, cribbage, family get-togethers, having coffee with family, friends and coworkers.
