Obituary

Jeffrey Robert Bialk was born to Eternal Life and passed to the Celestial Lodge above on Sunday, April 24, 2022, at the age of 73. Beloved father of Christian (Katie) Bialk and Victoria (Sam) Duehr. Loving "Gramps" of Colton and Adalaise. Also survived by his beloved dog Sky; sister, Christine Bialk, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Alice Bialk. Jeffrey was a true guardian of Constitution internally as a law man for over 30 years, retiring as a Captain of the Milwaukee Police Department and Director/Commander of the Federal Protective Service, Department of Homeland Security for Wisconsin. Externally, in service to his nation, he honorably served in the US Navy, Army, Air Force, and Marine Corps, retiring as a Master Gunnery Sergeant. His active duty and reserve service spanned 36+ years including two wars; Vietnam from 1970-1971 and Desert Storm in 1991. He was awarded numerous decorations and medals. MGySgt Bialk also served 5 years as Commandant of Cadets at St. John's Northwestern Military Academy; molding boys into young men and preparing them for bright futures. Devout in his faith as a Christian, he also had an unwavering devotion to the craft of Free Masonry, joining DeMolay International at the age of 14. He was a Master Councilor, Chevalier, and Conferral of the Legion of Honor. He became a Free Mason and served as a Master of Lake Lodge F&AM No 189. He was Sovereign Prince of the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, and coroneted with the 33rd, last and final degree for the Northern Masonic Jurisdiction. Jeffrey loved and lived for his family. He cherished time with his grandchildren and was a proud "gramps." He was a dedicated and loyal friend to many and was great keeper of history, which he freely shared usually over a beer and bourbon. He loved landscaping and spending countless hours working outside, watching and listening to the waves crashing the shoreline bringing peace to his life.
