Jean K. Braund (nee Achatz) Born to Eternal Life on Monday, May 20, 2024 at the age of 83. Loving wife of Ronald Braund for 60 years. Loving mom of Suzanne (Jeffrey) Delahaut and Lisa (Anthony) Lukasik. Treasured grandmother of Zachary and Hannah Lukasik and Logan Delahaut.

Preceded in death by her brother Richard Achatz.

Jean was originally from Wautoma, Wisconsin. Jean loved the Lord and found comfort in His word. Her strong faith was an inspiration to everyone.

She appreciated God's creation and loved spending time in the outdoors, camping, hiking and cross-country skiing. Many hours were spent in her vegetable garden, beautifying her flower gardens and tending to the birds.

She loved taking care of her family and sharing family traditions, including her famous baked goods! She was always there to listen, offer a helping hand, share her wisdom or provide a hug no matter the time of day.

Jean was a dedicated administrative assistant at the City of Milwaukee, County of Milwaukee, the Veterans Administration, Allen County Ohio, and Rock County Wisconsin.

Visitation at the FUNERAL HOME on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 from 4:30pm to 7:00pm with a Funeral Service at 7:00pm. Private interment.

Jean's family would like to thank the dedicated staff at Zilber Family Hospice for their loving and compassionate care.

Jean was a true believer in Christian education and was a devoted contributor to Wisconsin Lutheran High School. In Lieu of flowers please send a donation to Wisconsin Lutheran High School in honor of Jean Braund.
