Jan was a blessed child of God and steadfast follower of our Savior Jesus Christ. On Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at the age of 74 she was welcomed into the loving arms of her family in heaven including her parents; Edward and Ellen Swan. Her sister Carol (Alfred) Habel, brothers; Gerald (Phyllis), Warren and Richard, nieces; Judy Bakke and Patti Swan. Loving sister-in-law to Janice and Jeanette. Loving aunt to Mark (Laurie), Guy (Patti), Craig (Debra), Cheryl (Gene) Balthazar, Scott (Bonnie), Jerry (Laurie), Brian (Pam), Rod (Jody), Lynn Rinderle, Kevin, David (Micheline), Eric, Lori, Robert (Kim) Swan and Greg Bakke . Loving great-aunt to many as well. Jan was a patriotic, life-long resident of Cudahy and also a cherished neighbor of Mae, Armin, Chris, Beth, Mark, Deb and many others. She was a friend to many, a devoted member of St. Mark's Ev. Lutheran Church in Cudahy, and also a devoted teacher of Milwaukee Public Schools including the Spanish Immersion School. She was also a member of the MTEA. Jan will be deeply missed but always lovingly remembered. Jan was a trusted confidante, listener, and advisor with a lively, upbeat, youthful attitude. She lived her life with zest. Visitation SAT July 30, 2011 from 8:30 10:30 AM at ST. MARK'S EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 3515 E. Van Norman Ave. Cudahy, WI. Funeral Services at 10:30 AM.
