Tschanz, Janice M. (nee Lyman) of Greendale, WI and formerly of Hayward, WI, passed away peacefully on Christmas morning, December 25, 2014. Age 78 years. Janice was born July 13, 1936 to William and Lucy (Buse) Lyman. She grew up in Franklin, WI with her sister LeOra (Francis) Metz and Herbert Greenleaf. She was blessed with children who loved her, Lyman (Susan), Tammy (Roy) Wyman, Lee (Jeannie) and Lorne Tschanz as well as Kathy Armbruster. Janice was the loving grandmother of Chad (Jayme), Ryan (Mandy), Daniel (Nicole), Nicole (Adam), Zachary, Heidi, Clayton, Abigail, Aubrey and Carly Tschanz. She was also the dear great grandmother of Anabelle, Jameson, Lauren, and Oliver. She was preceded in her death by her beloved husband of 45 years, Richard (Dick) Tschanz, her sister LeOra Metz, and the late Herbert Greenleaf. Visitation at the Funeral Home on MONDAY, December 29 from 9:30-12PM. Funeral Service at 12 Noon. Interment to follow at Arlington Park Cemetery. Janice will be missed by her extended family as well as many lifelong friends from her card club, high school, and the many places she lived and worked. The family would like to thank the staffs at Froedtert Hospital and the Hales Corners Care Center for the wonderful care Janice received in her final weeks of her life.
