(nee DuFrame) Found peace on Friday, July 8, 2016. Age 74 years. Loving wife of Wayne Immel. Cherished mother of Pamela (Michael) Lanza, Lavell Wilcher, and the late Rex Immel. Beloved grandmother of Paul (Summer) Immel, the late Keith Lanza, Joseph (Jerrica) Lanza, Jason (Chrissy) Immel, Franklin Immel, Wade Wilcher, Raquel (Paul) Wisniewski, Tyler Goodrich, and Ellise Chinn. Devoted sister of Donald (the late Lucy) DuFrame, the late Thomas DuFrame, Marc (Carol) Mason, Margo (Leonard) Darryl, Bonnie Mason, Jackie (Mark) Beffa, Carla (Rich) Mason, and the late Dean (Patti) Mason. Preceded in death by her parents Franklin DuFrame, Leon and Elma Mason. Further survived by 14 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, other family and friends. The family will be having a gathering in Pound, Wisconsin on July 30th to celebrate Janice's life. Memorial Visitation in Milwaukee, WI will be at the Funeral Home MONDAY, August 1, 2016 from 3:00-5:00 PM. Memorial Services at 5:00 PM. Private inurnment Forest Hill Memorial Park. Janice loved living in the northern woods of Wisconsin in Shawano Co. She enjoyed bird watching, summer flowers, arts, crafts, country music and cowboy hats. She was an avid Green Bay Packer fan. She loved spending time with her family at picnics and reunions. In her earlier years, she enjoyed camping all over Michigan and Wisconsin while raising her children with her husband Wayne. Janice worked at Deltro Controls as a parts inspector for many years. She also was a home health aid helping other people which she took great pride in. She absolutely loved taking pictures of family and her animals through the years! She also loved taking videos of family and family trips. Green and gold and the red, white and blue were always important to her and what they stood for. The family would like to extend their thanks to the caregivers and staff of Birch Hill Care Center for the care and compassion they showed Janice in her time of need.
