Janice Sue Dean On Monday, July 20th, 2020, Janice Sue Dean peacefully succumbed to the perils of aggressive lung cancer. She was surrounded by her children, holding her hands and reminding her how much she's loved. She answered the Lord's call while Tim McGraw's "I Called Mama" played quietly in the background. Loving mom of Amanda "Mandy" Gabik and Mikey "Buck" (Dayna) Henninger. Cherished grandma of Decker and Milayna Henninger. Dear sister of Donna (Dan) Polasek, Dennis Strabel, Douglas (Susie) Strabel, the late Daryl (Sherrie) Strabel, Julie (Jeff) Bollis, Jerry (Julie) Strabel and Jimmy Westrich. Preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Beverly Westrich. Further survived by nieces, nephews, family members, friends and her feline companion Lucy. Anyone who knew Jan is familiar with her bubbly personality, goofy sense of humor, generosity and care for others, desire to celebrate the joys of life and, of course, her natural propensity to be the vivacious life of the party.
