Janet's love for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren was profound. Janet was the primary caregiver for her loving husband for 18 years after his stroke. After "Johnny's" passing, Janet volunteered at St. Bernadette Catholic Parish. She joyfully served at the annual parish festival, holiday fairs, bingos, fish frys, preparing sandwiches for guests at the House of Peace and served supper at the St. Vincent community meal. Janet retired from Kmart after more than 30 years of dedicated service. She served the public with a cheerful heart from the day the 76th and Good Hope Rd. store opened its doors until the day the store closed.
Janet enjoyed the beauty of her flower gardens and watching the cardinals and bluejays eat from the birdfeeders outside her kitchen window. She so enjoyed the vacations to Minocqua, Door County, and New Mexico, cooking for the holidays, card parties with family, bingo tours to Oneida, festivals, and concerts in the parks.
The family wishes to acknowledge the loving care Janet received from her aides, nurses, doctors and staff at Community Memorial Hospital, Columbia St. Mary's Hospital, and Aurora VNA Zilber Family Hospice. Special thanks to Shirley and Ronnie St. Peter and all our family for their loving support. Prasser-Kleczka Bay View Chapel 414-483-2322
