Janet Ann Horigan died at her home on April 22nd, 2018, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Janet was born on April 11th, 1939 to Agnes (nee Hrubesch) and John (Jack) Hoff in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. She graduated from Eau Claire Regis and attended UW-Milwaukee studying secondary education. Janet married Gerald James Horigan on July 29th, 1961, and survived by their three children, Timothy, Kelly (Catherine), and Patty Madden; and grandchildren Donny and Melanie Madden and Jacob Horigan. Janet served as a teacher, stay at home mom, and later in life as a volunteer care giver, and was very active in the activities of her church, Lutheran Chapel of the Cross (LCMS). In addition to her children, Janet is survived by her siblings Audrey Olbrantz, Arlene Brandt, Joyce Redman (Don), James (Lucy), Linda (Sue), and Carolyn Lindow (Steve); as well as many nieces and nephews. Preceding Janet in death were husband Gerald, her parents John and Agnes, and her in-laws David and Ethel Horigan. Visitation will be on Friday, April 27, 2018 from 3:00-5:30 P.M. at LUTHERAN CHAPEL OF THE CROSS CHURCH 3353 S. Whitnall Ave. in Milwaukee. A Celebration of Life service for Janet will start at 5:30 P.M. Interment Saturday 10:00 a.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery 614 E. Howard Ave. Milwaukee.
