Yaccarino, James Jim, age 82, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2014, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Doris for 57 years. Loving dad of Terri (Bob Hoyer) Martinich, Susan (Tom) McFadden, James A. (Roberta) Yaccarino. Proud grandfather of Alex, Ryan, Kyle, Vince, Dominick and Robert. Dear brother of Lena, Marge, the late Yolanda and Albert (Barbara). Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Jim loved sports of all kinds, winning many medals and trophies in the Senior Olympics. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Jim was a member of Louis Travis Amvets Post #14 and was a lifetime member of the Giuseppi Garibaldi Society. Although Parkinson's robbed Jim of his mobility and memory, it did not take away his spirit. He always had a twinkle in his eyes and a smile on his face.
